Poetry taken from Circling the Moment
Poem #1
I am no longer a sacrifice.
My life, my body, a feast laid out
to be consumed by those hungry for Themselves
and not even knowing that.
I am Buffalo no longer
every part used
For their hunger remains.
The Deep in me cries out:
this old way no longer serves
them, nor me.
The Deep within demands
the radiance of the Truth
of my being
as a solution to the cry
I feel in oneness
to my fellow beings.
May the radiance of True Being
evoke within them
the answer to their suffering:
their own identity as Happiness
their own identity as Love.
No more giving
only opening.
Poem #2
What I give up
is not a sacrifice
but a choice.
Different voices within
I choose the silent one
I honor the many needs
left unfulfilled
they are good
they are worthy
but something Deeper
calls me,
silently
it says, beyond words
in a still movement
of my heart,
come Home,
to your Self.
Poem #3
I paint with words
the picture of my heart,
I speak with words
the silent movement of my heart,
the longing for fulfillment
as a human being,
the act of radiance unfolding.
I am a mechanism prepared
for the unfoldment of that
which creates me,
and shines through.
I long to be transparent
To That which I truly am.
Poem #4
My friends
are my lifeline
back to myself.
We meet
Heart to Heart,
a connection
deeper than words
that feeds my
soul
to manifest
with my consciousness.
My friends' depth
supports and reminds,
a consciousness opportunity
to resonate more deeply
with the Real in me.
Thank you all
for meeting
me here.
We are each other's
inspiration.
