Faye Bates
Member-At-Large
Faye Bates grew up in the Midwest, a small town girl deeply in love with nature and the sparkling creativity in all that makes life glisten with possibilities.
During her career as a partner, writer, producer and art director in a mid-sized marketing and corporate training firm, Faye worked across
many industries. She helped clients refine their goals and needs and then blended creativity with an effective message to help manifest that in their organization. More recently Faye has returned to the roots of her first love, art. Picking up her sculpting tools she has been bringing into form an inspired series of feminine energies that come with a purpose of their own. Her life is now committed to inspired creativity and what is being called for at this time.
Faye is thrilled to be serving the mission of the Center for Soulful Living and its amazing community. |

Chris Allen
Secretary
Chris remembers as a child feeling a wonderful (today he would call it sacred) connection with Nature. His fondest memories include the quiet times alone perched in a favorite Mimosa tree, or wandering through a nearby field full of blooming Flocks, returning with a huge armful to give to his Mom. His journey of spiritual discovery began in college while majoring in photography and beginning the practice of meditation. Chris became a meditation instructor shortly after earning a BFA in photography, and spent six years teaching meditation. When the economic necessities of raising a family called him to "make a living", Chris began a career in sales that has proven to be the field for both extending and testing his spiritual discoveries.
After three decades in a successful sales career Chris is writing a book, Discovering the Soul of the Sale to share his experiences of connecting spirit with sales. He blogs at www.salesmystic.com/blog; and while maintaining his full time sales position with a global software and Website user experience design firm, Chris has launched a sales and small business coaching practice.
Chris is dedicated to supporting and expanding upon the CSL vision of co-creating a world that restores soulfulness and grace in the life of humanity and especially the field of commerce. |
